CLASSES AND ROAD TEST
Driving Lessons

Hillside Location: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Maspeth Location: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

A $25 cancellation fee per hour will apply for any lesson canceled after the required notice period.
Road Test
-
Cancellations must follow the same time frames: 24 hours for Hillside and 48 hours for Maspeth location.
-
A $50 cancellation fee will be charged for road test cancellations made after the required notice period.
-
An additional $20 fee will be charged to generate a new road test appointment.
FIVE HOUR PRE-LICENSING COURSE CLASS

Camera and microphone must remain on at all times or as instructed by the instructor.

Students are required to have their permanent learner’s permit to access the class.
-
Students must be present for the entire duration of the course and actively participate as required.
-
Attendance is mandatory on the scheduled date.
-
If the class is canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, a $25 rescheduling fee will be required to book a new date.
-
Failure to attend the rescheduled class will require payment of the full class fee to participate again.

The class fee includes the issuance of one certificate only, if a duplicate certificate is needed, a $25 fee will apply.

The 5-hour pre-licensing course certificate is valid for one year from the date of issuance.
SERVICE VALIDITY POLICY

Students have one (1) year from the date of purchase to use all services (driving lessons, road test packages, and any other purchased services).

After the one-year period, any unused services will expire and will not be refundable or transferable.

It is the student’s responsibility to schedule and complete all lessons and services within this validity period.
PICK-UP POLICY
Pick-up service is available only if requested through the office and under the following conditions:

The student’s residence is located no more than 10 minutes from the school.

The student is scheduled for two lessons on the same day.
Important Notes:

The time the instructor spends picking up and dropping off the student will be deducted from the total lesson time.

The school is not responsible for any delays caused by traffic or weather conditions.
REFUND POLICY

Refunds are subject to a processing fee of 10% of the transaction amount or $10, whichever is greater.
-
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice.
INSTRUCTOR AND VEHICLE REQUESTS
The school assigns different instructors and vehicles for lessons.

Students may request a specific instructor or vehicle; however, this cannot be guaranteed.

If a student cancels a class or road test because their preferred instructor or vehicle is unavailable, they will be charged the applicable cancellation fee in order to reschedule.
STUDENT REQUIREMENTS

Students must bring their learner’s permit to all driving lessons.
-
For road tests, students are required to bring:
-
Their learner’s permit.
-
The five-hour class certificate
-
Glasses or contact lenses (only if specified on the learner’s permit).
